Dear Gary and Linda, 
So sorry about your Mother's passing years ago. I was just doing some internet searches and discovered her obituary. I was your neighbor on Kasmuir in San Antonio many years ago and remember her happy smiles and wonderful love of teaching dancing. I now live in Castle Rock, WA.

Ruthie, I was 4 years old when I first met you and you made a marked impression on me then....just as you continued to do the next 53 years. Thanks for being a GREAT 2nd momma. I hope you are having coffee with my mom right now in Heaven.

Our family grew up with the Ellis family and of course I was in my first tapping class through Ruthie's dance studio. I have such wonderful memories and they will stay so very close to my heart. I will be thinking of you all at this difficult time. All my love and God bless.

I spent 6 years at Ruth Ellis studios where I learned an appreciation for dance. She and Jackie Sparks taught us beauty, work ethic and positive body image. Ruth was so vibrant and so excited about tap her enthusiasm effects me today when I find myself doing the 12 sound rif in my kitchen. 
She will be greatly missed !
