Ruth Pfeil Trimmier

She was born on November 6, 1930 in San Antonio to Ruth and Arthur Pfeil.

Ruth graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1948. She was a member of Delta Gamma at the University of Texas and of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Ann Barnes Holloway.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Billy; her daughters Ellen Trimmier Calkins and husband Chris of Lincoln, Nebraska, Carol Trimmier Taylor and husband Jeff of Austin, Texas; sons Ray Trimmier and wife Tami of San Antonio, Texas, and Charles Trimmier and wife Zilka of Boynton Beach, Florida; six wonderful grandchildren, Carrie and Christie Calkins, Stephanie and Kyle Taylor, and Josey and Hayley Trimmier.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Isaeff, Maritza Rodriguez, Leticia Vazquez and VITAS Hospice Care staff at Morningside Manor for their care and attention to Ruth.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, with a private family funeral at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Ruth's name.
