I just learned yesterday about RV's passing from my cousin Eileen. It has been many years since I saw RV, but the loss of a mother and grandmother affects all of us, no matter how much time or distance or degree of relationship separates us. My husband Leon and daughter Leslie join me in expressing our deepest condolences and sadness at your loss.

First let me say that I wish I could have been there. I was sick and I had one child that was sick. In any case, I will miss R.V., she was a fine woman. I remember my Granny Evelyn Mock and I going to her house often to visit her as well as my grandpa Bob Mock visiting Charlie. I will always be greatful to R.V. for looking out for my Granny and being such a close and wonderful friend to her. In the past year, I came to enjoy speaking with R.V. by phone every month or so giving her updates on my granny and getting updates from her. Please know that our prayers are with the family and that R.V. is missed.

I remember RV from the Astro square dance Club at St Joseph's Hall. This is where I met Charlie and RV. Lovely couple. We shared info about KAFB where she also worked. At that time she had retired and I was still working. Beautiful lady and with much respect. May I extend my condolences to the family. May Our Lord through prayer help you all to know RV will be healed. Our Lord will give her peace and comfort as He will for each of you.

Aunt R.V. was a very special person to me. We did not see each other often but we often had long phone conversations. It seems that we always had a close family bound. The last conversation that we had I remember her saying "don't forget me Polly". I will always remember her quick thoughts and her ability to communicate exactly her feeling on the subject at hand. I loved her dearly and will miss our conversations and occasional visits. I will also miss the library of family information that she was always so ready to share with me when I would call with that one more question about the family history. Bubba and Eileen I send you my love and grieve the loss of your mother with you.
