Ryan Cole Burford

We were blessed with the birth of our son Ryan Cole Burford on August 3, 2008. He was born with different abilities due to complications at birth. Ryan Cole Burford gained his forever wings on June 13, 2021 surrounded by friends and family.

Ryan was a very happy boy who loved to hear people talk to him and make sounds. His iPad was always close playing his favorite movie Coco. Ryan loved to laugh and everyone in the room would laugh with him. No matter what was going on he had a smile on his face that was very contagious. He loved playing with his sister and loving on his dogs, especially his best bud Kota. Ryan’s best time was sleeping every chance he could get, whether it be during school, therapy, doctor appointments and playing opossum when someone came in the room to do some work.

Ryan is survived by mother and father Jodi and Doug Burford and sister Madison Burford of the home. He is also survived by grandparents Janet and Joe Soukup (Kansas), Shelley and Rob Denison (Mico) and Beverly Van Zandt and the late Doug Burford (New Braunfels); great-grandmother, Norma Thornton (San Antonio); several great-uncles and great-aunts; along with many supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends and nurses.

The family will receive visitors from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Porter Loring Mortuary North
