Ryan, 
I just found out about your death. I can't describe the grief I feel. You were and always will be my first boyfriend & first true love. I have missed you over the years and was trying to get in touch with you to see how you were doing. Mr. And Mrs. Perry, I'm sorry you lost such a precious person. He was and always will be a wonderful part of my life. Ryan, I miss you....

Ryan Perry was a beautiful boy. He protected me from meaningless middle school meanness. He happily walked me home from school. He genuinely inquired about my life and my love. Most of all though, Ryan made my brother laugh. Through the walls of two different homes, I listened to their laughter, laughter that started from scrawny boys who later metamorphosized into brawny, beautiful men and even later yet, loving fathers. I am saddened by the impossibility of seeing them together, wrestling, lifting, playing, hugging, jumping, swimming, and laughing, with each other and with their children. I am particularly saddened by the impossibility of seeing Ryan carefully carrying Kemea down from his truck, an image so endearing. On Thursday night not far from his house, the moon shone brilliant and big, a circular sea of yellowy orange, and I thought, perhaps, just perhaps, Ryan is either riding that moon or attempting to lasso it again and again and again, without pain and without the pressure of time. As with many people in my life, I wish I had more frequently thought of Ryan Perry, but now I know that I will forever think of his strong mother, his quiet father, his gorgeous girl, those that helped and hurt, and him, who was beautiful.

Ryan....I only knew you for about 3 years, but in that time I was truely blessed to have known you. I will always miss you and all the things you did that made me laugh. You had such a unique voice and I will miss it. I don't think I could ever go to a race track and not think of you. Garrett loves you so much and I know he already greatly misses you. I know that any time he is working on a truck that you will be there making sure it doesn't fall on him and helping him with every move. Thank you for being such a great friend to Garrett. I know that you will continue to watch over him and have his back from up above. I am comforted in the fact that you are no longer in pain. We miss you and we will see you again some day. We love you! Ronald, Clare, Kemea, and Staci....we are praying for you and that God will comfort you in this time. And remember that a huge part of Ryan still lives here on Earth and that's in Kemea.

Clare, Ronald and Kamea, 
There are no words that can truly express our heartfelt sympathy for you and the family. Though we may all share our grief and pain with you at this time, it gives me great joy to know that the realationship you have with the Lord will eventually heal this pain. I am also very glad to know that Ryan had a relationship with the Lord, so though he may have left us on this side, we can rejoice in knowing we will see him again. It is only God who can have things in order for Kamea as they are, and for her to be so strong in the Lord is a great tribute to how she is being raised. I can still see Ryans smile at the Black Histroy as his princess was in in position on stage as a banker! Thank God for those times he was able to share with his princess, which will give her long lasting memories as well. My sister, you already know, if there is anything you need, all you have to do is call! Even if you need a listening ear, a shoulder to just lean on, please don't hesitate to call. I remember when Ryan was just a boy and how he grew up to be a fine young man. He blessed us all with Kemea, she is percious. You and your family are in my prayers. I share your sorrow.

Ryan, I am so saddened to learn of your passing. I will never forget the good times and how you could always bring a smile to my face. I will be praying for your family during this very tough time. Rest in peace my friend.

Ryan always made everybody laugh no matter what and he was always calm and never got mad.He was always there for me when i needed someone to talk to and he has been my best friend for 6 1/2 years, and he always made me laugh and smile! He will always be missed and loved!

Clare & Ron, don't know if you remember us but your Ryan went to school with my RyanLindsey, almost their entire school life. We are shocked & so saddened to hear of your loss. It is hard to come to grips with. I remember how cute your Ryan was at a very young age. He was one of the most handsome & sweet young boys that I remember. We will never forget him. I am praying for both of you, his little daughter bet she looks like him, and all of your family. My Ryan lives in Austin and won't be able to get here for the funeral, but oh the memories he has of your son! Your son's memory will keep him alive in every one of us. I was in the process of reconnecting with Ryan in the past few weeks. Though we had not yet had a chance to catch up in person, Our discussion revealed that he was in great physical pain, his daughter was his world, and he was pulling through surgery and therapy for her. Ryan was a dear friend to many and holds a special place in my heart. He will be greatly missed. The Lord has relieved him of his pain and he is watching over his princess. "HEY GUUUUUUUY!" That was the greeting that usually came with the answer of Ryan "RHINO" Perry's phone calls. My son Tyler loved to sit in his monster truck. I spent countless hours at his house laughing, eating, playing video games, and talking about life. I love you Ryan, always will brother. You are missed. Ill see you when i get there. Dustin.
