

Ryan had a passion for truck driving and took great pride in his work. He was also an avid Transformer collector, a hobby that brought him joy and reflected his unique personality and interests. Above all else, Ryan loved his family fiercely. His family was his greatest source of happiness, and the memories they created together will forever remain in their hearts.
Ryan is preceded in death by his little sister, Kimberly Wendt; his grandparents, Gerald Balmes; Maureen O’Brien; Willard Wendt; and Lois Sears.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Robert Wendt; his mother, Lynda Balmes; his sisters, Kristen, Kelly, and Kaaren; his beloved wife, Jennie, lovingly known as “Mama”; and his five children, Angelica, Delia, Sebastian, Dominic, and Skilynn. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Zaydin, Zain, Isabel, Leilani, and Mateo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Ryan’s love for his family, his unforgettable personality, and the memories he created with those he loved will never be forgotten. His family will forever carry his memory in their hearts and cherish the love he gave so freely.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, US, on September 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with a Prayer Service there the same day from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Chapel Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on September 2, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by Committal at East View Cemetery, 3550 Roland Rd., San Antonio, TX 78210, US, on September 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
