Sabrina Shawd Herrera went peacefully to be with the Lord and her son, Joshua, on June 20, 2005 at the age of 49 years. Sabrina was a 1974 graduate of Alamo Heights High School, where she enjoyed being a member of the swimming/diving team. She went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Texas Tech University in 1978, where she was proud to be in the Delta Gamma Sorority. She later attended UCLA to work on her Masters in Business. She is survived by her husband, of 17 years Ruben Herrera and her beloved puppies Yanni, Savanah and Aniken; sisters, Melissa Stewart and husband, Robert, Amie and husband, Mitch; brothers, David Shawd, Cliff Shawd, Thaddeus Shawd, Sam Shawd and his wife, Daisy and Timothy Shawd and his wife, Cathleen; and numerous nieces, nephews, god children, in-laws and friends that loved her dearly.
