'I just found this obituary and so sad to have lost this wonderful friend. We were friends/neighbors in Minnesota and reunited our friendship in Texas. We would meet for lunch and catch each other up on our husbands and our children and her adorable grandchildren. As we started seeing doctors more and more we became wrapped up in our own health events and lost contact even by phone. Loved Sally's sense of humor and we shared many laughs and tears, too. A very smart and well read lady. Sally taught me how to cross country ski through Wayzata Newcomers Club in MN at the golf course where we also enjoyed golfing and laughing about the hole in one that I made there. Rest in peace, dear friend. Missing you for some time, but glad you are not suffering anymore. God's blessings to all the family from Anne and Steve Speights.'

A good memory of Mrs. Morgan was when she took Helen and I to the grocery store (we were poor college students) and she filled her cart up with all kinds of goodies for us to eat! So wonderful! 

She truly loved her family and she was loving to me the roommate as well !'

'I am not sure if Sally (Brown) was a girl I was very friendly with in the late 40's early 50's in England and possibly Bermuda too. I remember her very well and have some nice photos of her when staying with us in Eversley Cross, Hampshire. I had a pony and she was very keen on riding. I think her father was called Ashley and her parents were good friends of mine. I would be so grateful if you could let me know it is the Sally I am thinking about, and I am very sorry for your loss. 'What a fun friend for many years! She had such a dry wit and I loved it.'

We shared so much in Birmingham, raising our children [and our glasses !] tennis, Book club [which Sally formed] Ski Holidays and social events both small and large. All fun and joy because of Sallys' huge sense of fun. Sally was clever and wise for which we were grateful.

'Sally was a treasure full of humor and stories. Randy and I met Sally, David, Helen and Bruce while living in Birmingham UK. Sally and we Ladies took to the slopes of Italy enjoying a ladies week away. We turned around and did the same trip the next year with our families. Poor Sally broke her leg but managed to survive with her libations, pain killers and the odd cigar....she was one UNIQUE woman. Sally wrote the most amazing emails full of stories of life in the US , family and them aging gracefully..always full of joy...humor and love.
We will dearly miss these emails with THE stories. But I know you all will miss those long discussions on every possible topic. May her gifts shine in you all as you celebrate a very rare bird.
