

He was a veteran of WWII, serving proudly in the US Navy. After 25 years of dedicated service, he retired as a civil service employee.
He was a devout parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church-South San Antonio. His favorite past time was tending to his flower garden ~ Having promised his wife before their marriage, a rose garden, he lovingly fulfilled his promise to her.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Dolores Cuellar. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Tina Cuellar; his children: Salvador Jr. Lydia, Patricia Andy, Betty, Yvonne Gilbert and Reuben Rita; 11 grandchildren: Jason, Brent, Jillian, Eric, Monica, Lindsey, Kristen, Derek, Elizabeth, Adam, Jarred; and one great grandchild, Selah; his sisters: Helen Melendes Prospero, Aurora Guevara, Linda Shuffield Bill and brother Manuel Cuellar Jr. Frieda.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24th from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
