Sam L. Coleman

Sam L. Coleman passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 83. He spent most of his life in auto sales, and for 25 years was the owner of Coleman Motors in San Antonio. Sam was an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge & Allie (Merck)Coleman; siblings, Robert R. Coleman, Annalee Smith, Bert W. Coleman, Betty Brown, Clyde Coleman; and grandson, Lucas Parell. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Marie; children, Linda Trevino (Joe), Carolyn Parell (Joe), Biff Coleman (Suzanne), Karen Lux (Larry), Sharon Hrncir (Tim); 9 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
