Samuel Ray Chavez, born on November 4, 1981 was called to be with Our Lord on March 21, 2019 at the age of 37. He is survived by his parents, Manuel and Blanca Chavez; brothers, Joseph Chavez (Tracy), Matthew Chavez, Nathaniel Chavez (Sonya) and Jacob Chavez; nieces, Kaitlyn Chavez and Briana Chavez; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 8:15 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 CLower St., San Antonio TX 78201. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.
