

Samuel David Schneider was born on January 12, 1975. He passed away on April 7, 2013. He is preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Schneider, uncle, Jayme Fragua, grandparents Sammy Fragua, Isadore “Chuck” Schneider, Helen Schneider and great grandparents Valentino and Lenora T. Fragua.
He is survived by his life partner Koichi Kikushima, father Bruce Schneider, brothers Jason Schneider and Zack Emery, grandmother Zelda Van Vranken, aunts Lisa Fragua Mattern and Lonna Rubinstein, uncle Rick Taylor, niece Brittney Schneider, great aunts Margaret Swazo, Maureen Fragua, and cousins Lily Fragua, Darrell Swazo, Leah Fragua, Susan McAlpine, and Gregory Hitchcock and many other beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and dear friends. He is also survived by his family in Japan, Chiharu Kikushima, mother-in-law, Chika Noguchi, sister-in-law, her husband, Shin Noguchi, and their daughter, Yumeji.
Born in New Mexico, Sam grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in San Francisco and most recently, Austin, Texas. He was extremely proud of his Native American heritage. He loved his cats, Kookie & Bebe. We will remember Sam for his love of music, photography, travel, and his wit, sarcasm, dry sense of humor, and free spirit.
Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Austin Highway on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 2:00P.M to 5:00 P.M.
