Samuel D. Meyer

Samuel David Meyer passed away August 14, 2012. He was born on August 22, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Meyer was a 1973 graduate of MacArthur High School and also attended The University of Texas at San Antonio. He was CEO and founder of Abrite Cleaning Systems, a chemical and cleaning supply manufacturing company in San Antonio. He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Ann Meyer; father, Dr. Donald E. Meyer; father-in-law, Turner Veith Jr.; mother-in-law, Gloria Veith; Uncles Robert and Ralph Meyer; Aunts Betty Meyer, Marie Nix. He is survived by his loving mother, Julie Meyer; daughters Cassandra (Meyer) Russell, Amanda (Meyer) Meadows; son-in-laws, Jonathan Russell, Andy Meadows; brother, John Meyer; Uncles & Aunts, George & Diane LeSatz; Betty Meyer; Steve & Donna LeSatz; Alcenith Green; brother-in-law Carl Veith; nephews & nieces, Michael, Cathy & Aidan Veith; Cathy & Joel Gonzalez; Daniel Veith. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Tues, Aug. 21, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, with Rev. Jack C. Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
