She was born on March 9, 1966 in Laredo Texas and was adopted by the loving late parents, Amado and Maria Sosa. Janie grew up on the south side of San Antonio, attended and graduated from McCollum High School in the year of 1985. On December 6, 1992 she met the love of her life, Ric Mansanarez, and on November 29, 1996 they joined their hands in marriage. Together, they had one beautiful child, Tabitha Marie Mansanarez born in 2002.
Janie was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by all she became friends and family with.
A Celebratoin of Life is scheduled for 2 pm on August 28, 2021 at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway followed by a backyard family gathering at the Gonzales residence.
