Sandra Turner DuBose received her wings June 5, 2019 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on February 24, 1954 to Robert Crutchfield and Mary Lee Turner Battle in Shreveport, Louisiana. Sandy, as she is affectionately known by many, attended public schools in Shreveport, graduating from Bethune Jr. & Sr. High School.
