CMSgt Sandra McCoig, USAF Retired, passed away October 17, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 78 years. She was born on April 22, 1945 in Belleville, Illinois to Ivan Williams and Elsie Keim Williams.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Elsie Williams, her sister-in-law, Bonnie Williams and brother-in law, Gary McCoig.
Sandra is survived by her husband, James McCoig of 28 years; daughter, Michelle Valentine and husband Dan; step-daughter, Jenelle O’Brian and husband John; grandchildren, Michael Yi, Ramiro Benavides, Daniel Valentine, Lacey Griffin and T.J. O’Brian; great grandchild, Milo; brother Gary Williams.
A graveside service will be conducted at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209 on November 8, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.
