The Lord Jesus took to Himself a true disciple when Sandy Munn died unexpectedly on July 29, 2016. Always ready to help with any task needed, Sandy enjoyed serving in the Christ Episcopal Church Alter Guild, Daughters of the King and ministering with the Community of Hope. She was extremely outgoing and forgiving. For Sandy, her friends were her children whom she gathered into her nest to guard and groom.Born in the Rio Grand Valley town of Harlingen just minutes after her identical twin sister Susan, to E.C. Ted Marsh and Mayme Sue Marsh, she moved with her family to San Antonio in the late 1950's. The twins attended Alamo Heights Junior High School and graduated from St. Mary's Hall. After graduation from Trinity University, Sandy taught second grade in the NEISD.In 1975 after a whirlwind courtship, she married the love of her life, attorney H. O'Neal Munn and set about augmenting and supporting his singular personality. Sandy's talent for home design and decorating made the various places they lived beautiful and comfortable. Sandy had the gift of showing impeccable taste in everything she touched. She and O'Neal traveled the world and she shared his love for racing and horses. As his health failed, Sandy was determined to keep him at home where she cared for him until his death in 2004.Her sister Susan and her beloved nephew, Ted Monesson and his son, Jacob occupied the center of her heart and she watched them grow, taking so much joy in their accomplishments. Along with her bevy of friends, Sandy set up a network of love and support always organizing and directing help as the needs of others arose.Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, H. O'Neal Munn and nephew, Walter Goldston. She is survived by her sister, Susan M.
