Sandy Cassidy, age 68, of San Antonio, went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 3, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Sandy was a very active member of University Baptist Church, and served as a former preschool director and teacher at the church. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Terry Cassidy; 3 children, Debbie Massey, David Cassidy, and Carol Claridge; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; and 1 brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the University Baptist Church Building Fund, 6465 Babcock Rd., San Antonio, TX 78249.
