Sarah Frances Alexander

Sarah Frances Alexander, 44, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 5, 2026. Sarah was born on December 28, 1981 in Montgomery, Alabama. She moved with her family to San Antonio in 1984 and graduated from Madison High School in 2000 where she enjoyed playing softball, running cross-country, and writing for the school newspaper and literary magazine.

In 2003, Sarah graduated from the Baptist Radiology School, earning a Radiology Technician certification. Due to a vehicle accident that same year, Sarah made up her mind not to feel sorry for herself and decided to go to work as a PBX operator at Texsan Hospital. She later earned her medical coding certification and worked for many years with the University of Texas-Health Science Center.

Sarah enjoyed going to special events with her friends including the rodeo, Night In Old San Antonio, and attending performances at local comedy clubs.

She was a true fighter who never let her disability get the better of her. The courage she displayed through all of her struggles will always be remembered by family and friends.

Sarah is survived by her parents, Richard and Stephanie (coe) Alexander, her brother and sister-in-law Gary and Laura Alexander, her niece, Mya Alexander, along with many other family members.
