

Scott David Monroe, age 37, passed away on May 5, 2022, In San Antonio, Texas. David was born in Jacksonville, Texas. He graduated from Lutheran High School, San Antonio, TX and was pursuing a computer degree at San Antonio College. David worked as the Director of Information Services at Spectrum Creations, Inc. and as an IT Specialist at Jon Wayne Service Company. He also served as a volunteer at the Christ Episcopal Church Food Pantry.
Davids creativity was expressed through music as a drummer for various metal bands and through his cooking he was an avid chef. He also enjoyed building and rebuilding computers and sound systems.
David was a loving son and brother as well as a loyal and generous friend to all. His humor, smiles and especially his hugs will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his uncle, Dan F. Anepohl and grandparents Fred and Betty Anepohl and Myrick and Dorothy Monroe.
David is survived by his parents: Scott and Jane Monroe; his brother, Mike Monroe and an extended family of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a Memorial Service for David on May 20th at 10:30 am in the TMI All Saints Chapel, 20955 W. Tejas Tail, San Antonio, TX 78257. The Rev. Jay George will officiate. There will be a reception following the service at the Grace Church campus, 20303 W. Tejas Trail. Interment will be at the Garden of Memories in Kerrville, TX .
