

Scott was 58 years young, born June 2, 1956. He passed in the presence of his family August 14, 2014. He was born in Yankton, South Dakota, but resided in Spring Branch, Texas at the time of his death.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Jean Morgan and father-in-law Jim May. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 37 years, Michelle Morgan, his 3 children, Scott Anthony Morgan II, Patrick Morgan and his wife, Brandi Morgan, and Jacqueline Sharber and her husband, William Sharber and mother-in-law Dicksie May. He had 5 grandchildren, Haiden Morgan, Sebastian Morgan, Paige Sharber, Cayla Sharber, and Victoria Sharber. He is also survived by his sister, Julie Morgan and fiance Pete Soto and numerous nieces and nephews.
Scott spent his career working with heavy equipment and spent 20 of those years at Vulcan Materials Company. His hobbies included salt water fishing, riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR, and being with his friends and family. Scott suffered his first heart attack in June of 2004 and received his heart transplant on August 12, 2009. He lost his battle with congestive heart failure 2 days after his 5 year anniversary of his transplant. Scott was overwhelmed with gratitude by his transplant and deeply thankful for Abel Robles, his heart donor. Scott brought awareness to his friends and family about organ donation in the last 5 years of his life. A Memorial Service will take place Friday August 22, 2014 at 12:00pm in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
