June 26, 1955 - January 31, 2025
Scott Thomas Mullin went home to be with the Lord suddenly on January 31, 2025 because of natural causes. He died at work in San Antonio, Texas.
Scott was a shining light to all those around him with his endless sense of humor, his desire to help right away when needed, and his wise and understanding counsel. He donated to charitable organizations and to others on the side. He paid for breakfast for a table full of firefighters on multiple occasions. Superheroes have superheroes.
Scott enlisted in the Marines in 1975 and was discharged honorably. He married Theresa the same year, and their marriage (built on the Solid Rock) lasted for almost 50 years. He graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a Master's Degree in 2001. He was a genius-level programmer, and his last place of work was Intertek, an industrial testing laboratory. He spoke often of the people at work and would share many of their jokes.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Theresa (Terri); his children, Scott J. Mullin and Shannon Saenz; his brother, Miles Mullin; his sister, Joan Peck; his grandchildren by Scott and Claire: Naomi, Sapphire, and Scott R. and his grandchildren by Shannon and Zeke: Skylar and Ezra.
There will be a memorial at the end of April to honor Scott. Please visit his memorial site at dignitrymemorial.com/obituaries/san-antonio-tx/scott-mullin-12224826 for updates and to share any thoughts.
