Hello everyone, this is Scott's son. It was very good seeing everyone at the memorial. We appreciate all the written memories and flowers that were sent. I do believe we honored my dad well. My only regret is that we didn't have more time together. Thanks again to all!

All companies have a few outstanding employees that are critical to the operation so that problems are addressed quickly and effectively, Scott was one of those employees.  He always had a positive “can do” attitude that helped drive teamwork and excellence throughout the company.  To the family of Scott, you have my sincere condolences.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Scott's passing. He was a dedicated and hardworking colleague and a supportive friend to many of us. His presence will be greatly missed at Automotive Research. His ability to troubleshoot and fix problems was always appreciated.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

I miss you already bud. To your family, I pray you have peace and healing knowing how awesome a child of God he is. I'll never forget it we were tie for employee of the year, so I broke the tie and voted for you. You had just graduated and helped me all the time. We went through a lot together. Going to miss you, my brother.

I worked with Scott for over 30 years at Intertek.  He was an absolute pleasure to work with.  Always willing to lend a hand and help solve a problem.  Incredibly smart and dedicated.  Very witty and a wonderful demeanor.  He will be missed.

I worked with Scott for many years and will miss his willingness to assist others, his laughter and humor.   He was an invaluable asset to the IT team with his many years of experience.

He will be deeply missed.

Autumn is the best of seasons……Old age is the best part of life……But…….Autumn; it doesn’t last. We must see the first death as friend and deliverer. This old tent is removed and in Christ Jesus HE gives a new and glorious body that will never taste death again. “death is swallowed up in victory.” Thank you Father who gives those in Christ Jesus, Victory over the grave! Victory over death. 
Scott and Theresa were kids, barely out of high school, when they first met. Scott loved her from that first day and pursued her with all his strength.  He bought her so many gifts: flowers, sweepers, jewelry and two hearts tattooed on his arm with their names inked inside each heart. 
Then on August 13, 1975,  with me and Rick as their two witnesses, they went to the courthouse and were married.  This August would be 50 years of marriage. 
Scott was a man with a sense of humor. He liked pleasing people and making others laugh.  He was a generous man and would share his substance with others. 
In 1978 Theresa accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was her Redeemer and friend. Sweet, faithful Theresa, prayed diligently for Scott to know Christ and in his later years he believed and surrendered his life to the Lord.  He enjoyed going to church to worship the Lord.  Scott ended his life, a kind, generous soul. He is in Heaven now.  Safely Home!
After a warm welcome and embrace from Jesus, I’m sure, the twins will be there to greet him.
I love you Theresa. You can do all things through Christ. He is the One who will give you strength.

I’ve known and  worked with Scott for 32 years or so. Most of those years we were in the same department. Scott was always quick to lend a hand with any issue and somehow always managed to make me feel better about whatever issue we were dealing with at the time. He found humor in almost everything. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather and always had good things to say about you all. I know he tried to do everything he could to help his family be happy and successful. The latest example of this was him asking if I had any advanced math books he could borrow because his granddaughter got into an advanced placement math class and he wanted to brush up so he could be able to help her if needed. He was a good friend and I already miss his corny dad jokes. Your family has my sincerest condolences and I am truly sorry for your loss.

      I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts, prayers, condolences are with you, Scott and Shannon. Ever since we all met at Wilshire, your family has been a extension of our own. My mother loved you and Big Scott, she saw you as her sister. I have many memories with you, Big Scott and the family from years ago. I remember Big Scott driving us around the old neighborhood in the little red car for trick-or-tricking; or when it snowed, going over to your house and Big Scott driving me back home after spending the night at your home. Those were some precious memories. Honestly, if you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
