Born December 31, 1974, at the age of 38, our beloved son, Sean Matthew Noster, was called home unexpectedly to the loving arms of his Savior, Lord Jesus Christ, on September 19, 2013. From a young age, Sean was graced with exceptional athletic abilities. As a graduate of John Marshall HS, Sean was a linebacker on JMHS’s Texas State Championship contending football team that played Odessa Permian in December 1992. He proudly went on to accept a football scholarship to play on Nebraska Coach Tom Osborne’s first National Championship team in the 1995 Orange Bowl. Unfortunately, Sean’s football career ended in his Sophomore year when he sustained serious shoulder and spinal injuries during the 1994-95 season. Sean returned to Texas and attended UTSA, where he graduated with a degree in Information Systems. Sean is survived by his parents, Trina and Wayne Noster, his older brother, Troy Noster, his aunt and uncle, Nita and Mike Phythian, and his aunt, Mary Lynn Hicks. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mission Burial Park North.
