

A devoted husband, loving father, and true Patriot, Master Sergeant (Ret.) Sebastian R. Roman held an unwavering commitment to his Country. He began a distinguished 25-year career in the United States Military, serving honorably in both the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Navy. With his dedication and excellence, he rose through the ranks to achieve the esteemed designation of Master Sergeant (MSgt). He also completed 30 years in Civil Service.
Sebastian was born May 12, 1945, in Puerto Rico and passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 80.
Sebastian R. Roman is survived by his beloved wife Maria T. Roman, who was his partner
and confidante; his children, Yvonne Roman and Sebastian Jr.; his stepchildren, Tricia, Tina, and Laura; grandchildren, Lauren, Haley, Sebastian III, Loren, Alyssa, Gabriel, Chrissy, Chris, Abigail, Sonia, Arlyann, and BJ; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Tina Fierros, Erma Ruiz; brother, Lee Roman;
and so many more family and friends that will feel the loss of this great man.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary, located at 1101 McCullough Ave. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the same location.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
