Sergio Valderrama Sr.

Sergio Valderrama Sr. entered eternal rest in San Antonio, TX on May 26, 2019 at the age of 77. Born in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico on July 8, 1941 to Abel and Irene Valderrama; he now reunites with his parents.

Sergio enjoyed watching sports, especially soccer, baseball, and bull fights. He had a sweet tooth and enjoyed listening to classical music, such as Frank Sinatra.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of over 46 years, Ernestina Valderrama; children: Mario Raul Medina and wife Christine, Monica Valderrama, Sergio Valderrama jr.; grandchildren: Christian Medina, Gabriela Medina, Elena Michelle Medina, James Patrick Medina; brother, Guillermo Valderrama Uribe; sister, Sonia Valderrama Uribe; and numerous other relatives.

The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 5pm-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Services will continue on Saturday, June 1, 2019 with a 12pm Funeral Mass at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Cremation will take place at a later date.
