Severiano “Sebero” C. Garcia entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on June 3rd, 2024 at the age of 84. Sebero was born on February 21st, 1940 to Pedro Garcia Pena and Fernanda Carrisalez in Matehuala, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
Sebero cherished spending quality time with his family, especially when dancing and celebrating. He always filled the room with laughter and joy. He also enjoyed the company of his District 5 Senior Center friends and playing friendly games of bingo where the spirit of competition was always lighthearted and fun. In addition, he found relaxation and happiness in listening to Nortenos, a music genre close to his heart. Sebero was also passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise with his family and friends. When he was relaxing, you could always catch him watching wrestling matches, finding entertainment and excitement in every fight.
Sebero will be united in heaven with his parents; Pedro Garcia and Fernanda Carrisalez, his daughter; Candelaria Garcia, and his six brothers and two sisters.
Seberos’ memory will forever live in the hearts of his loving wife of 58 years; Eliazar Zapata de Garcia, his children; Fernanda Garcia, Laura Garcia, Severiano Garcia (Ester), Carolina Luna, Alejandra Garcia, and his 9 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 8 great-grandsons, and his 1 great-granddaughter.
There will be a Visitation held Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. On Monday, June 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Cecilia's Catholic Church, 125 W Whittier Street, San Antonio, Texas 78210. An interment will occur Monday, June 10, 2024 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, Cemeteries & Crematories, 1700 SE Military Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78214.
