Shane Alex Moore, age 32, passed away on December 28, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 1, 1991, in Minot, ND, and is survived by his loving parents Shon Alex Moore and Rebecca Ann Moore. Shane will be deeply missed by his devoted sister, Christina Lynn Carlson, and his adoring nieces, Ysabel, Kyla, and Layla.

Shane proudly served as a 3rd generation active-duty US military serviceman and rose to the rank of Sergeant in the US Army as a Combat Engineer. He was assigned to the 2nd Brigade 1st Cavalry unit at Fort Cavazos, Texas, and had recently returned from a 10-month deployment to Lithuania and Finland in Eastern Europe.

Throughout his military career, Shane exemplified leadership, mentorship, and camaraderie, earning the respect and admiration of all his fellow soldiers. His dedication and selflessness made a lasting impact on those around him, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

Shane Alex Moore will forever be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his country, his bravery in the face of adversity, and his compassionate nature. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his remarkable life.
