Sharon was born on October 3, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Louis Walter and Miriam (nee Campbell) Walter.
In the 1980s, Sharon discovered the warmth of South Texas where she would work in the restaurant industry and enroll in nursing school. She always took care of everyone around her.
Sharon loved knitting, creating unique cakes, playing cards, enjoying her cat Barney, and Sunday lunch with her family. She was a fan of Hallmark movies, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and Torchy's Tacos' cinnamon churros. Yum.
Devoted mother of James and Will Bermender, adoring grandmother of Cole and Ivy, and mother-in-law of Susan. Sharon was sister to 13 siblings: Diane Huff, Amy Dee Fleming, Anna Histand, Kathryn Klaus, Irene Dunne, Geraldine Heck, Pearl Walter, Robert Walter, William Walter, Earl Walter, Louis T. "Sonny" Walter, Ellwood Walter, and Richard Walter.
