Do know that with the passage of time your burden will be releived when you think of all the happy times you had together. My life was blessed by Sherrie being a part of it. I've known Sherri for some forty years, since junior high school. She was always a very special person, with a very big heart. She raised two great sons, and was 1000% dedicated to her "kids" at Fox Tech. Her fight against the cancer which took her WAY too early was an inspiration to us all.

In 1989-90, I had the privelage to work with Sharon Huckleberry, whom I always considered a dearly friend for the many learning experiences we shared back then. Fortunately we had the chance to keep in touch throughout the years, and finding out about her sickness was a deep grief. But I will always remember how optomistic she was about it. On behalf of the Fox Tech Student Council, we express our deepest sympathy on our loss of a wonderful teacher and friend at school. This past May, the Student Council at its spring Blood Drive donated all blood for Sharon Huckleberry. Though she never taught any member of our organization, we, the students, were deeply touch by her warm, caring heart when she came to the drive to say thank you...that is why we are call the Fox Tech Family. 
There are not enough words to express our sorrow for this loss, but our lives will be richer knowing that in some way we were there in her time of need.

I will always remember Sherri Huckleberry as a smiling, kind friend who was always there for her students. Her strength and courage in the face of adversity will long be remembered in my heart. I will look to her as a role model as a person, teacher, and friend. I will miss her but I know she is in God's presence, smiling and if Heaven has a school, she will surely be one of its finest teachers. It was an honor and pleasure to have Sheri as a friend and colleague. She was a tremdous teacher, always challenging the students she worked with to "try" something new and then encouraging them along the way. She gave of herself unselfishly and always tried her best to ensure her students got what they needed. I will miss her and the talents she shared. Sheri was the most loving and giving person I have known. She and went went through school together and were close in our adult years. Words cannot express my sadness in losing such a sweet friend.
