Sharon touched many young lives as a second grade teacher at Northern Hills Elementary School for over 20 years.
Sharon was an inspiration to many as she courageously and optimistically fought breast cancer for six years.
Sharon is survived by her daughters, Shannon and Ashley; and daughter-like niece Gretchen Day Fischer; her father Marshall A. Day, Jr. and wife Liz; brothers Marshall A. Day III and wife Samantha and Mark A. Day and wife Kim; her sisters Jana Bone, Kelly Day, and sister-in-law Sonia Samples; and her grandfather Marshall A. Day Sr. Sharon is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews in San Antonio, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Florida. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Pape, and grandmother Virginia Day, of Little Rock.
