During her time, she worked throughout Bexar County: Methodist Hospital, Nursing Homes, Laurel Ridge Hospital, medical offices, and private duty nursing. Her favorite position was nursing private patients, especially special needs children, through Maxim HealthCare. She often would sing to them as she had a big heart, full of compassion and empathy.

She and her brother, John, sang a duet at her brother Jim and Holly’s wedding from Fiddler on the Roof: Sunrise, Sunset.
Her creativity expanded into crafting and art. She was successful at buying from resale companies and embellishing clothing and shoes to sell to online companies like Poshmark etc. She spent many hours with her son, LJ, coloring, crafting, singing and reading!!
