I just learned of this yesterday when I ran into Marvin Burns at a golf tournament. I knew Sharon from the old Diamond Shamrock days. She was always smiling and sweet, a joy to work with.  My heart and prayers go out to her family.

 Very saddened to hear the news. Death is never easy but when so young and so unexpected it hurts more.  Sharon will be missed by all of us that had the pleasure to work with her.  Prayers to all family.

You are a DEAR and sincere sister who LOVED our family unconditionally. You were a very generous and thoughtful sister and we miss you VERY much. There has not been a day that goes by that you are not on our mind. We sit here and ponder how very much we would like to talk with you and tell you how much we LOVE you. There were SO many things that we didn't get to say to each other. I know how much you LOVED us and how much we LOVED you. An angel came and took you by the hand and said your place was ready in Heaven...there is not a greater place to live than in Heaven, Praise be to God. Though your life on Earth is past, in Heaven it starts a new. You'll live there for all eternity, just as God has promised you. And though you've walked through Heaven's gate, we are never far apart. For every time we think of you Sister, you're right here deep with-in our heart! Until we meet again, we are hurt and sad, but I know you are in the Kingdom of Heaven with our Lord! Knowing that some day when our work is completed here on Earth, through the grace of Jesus Christ, we will join all of our LOVED ones in Heaven. We were blessed to have Sharon as a part of the Valero/Diamond Shamrock Family.  She was an inspiration to us with her kind ways and humbleness.   Her successes and professional contributions were many, but she will always be remembered fondly for her personal kindness and the caring support she gave her co-workers. Sharon was such a beautiful person.  Always friendly and made me laugh so much.  She will be greatly missed.  I know she is an angel above watching over us.  God bless.

Dear Sharon, you have touched my life like few others have. You have been a colleague, a mentor, an inspiration, one of my closest freinds and above all, one of the best humans I have ever met in my life. You will never go away from my heart and I will remember you every single time I pass by your now empty desk. My family is overcome with sadness that Sharon was taken from us suddenly due to illness this past Monday. Sharon devoted herself to making her family and friends happy and was selflessly helping our parents daily with their health and emotional needs.  Unfortunately she was taken from us much too soon.  The only way I can make sense of this is our Lord needed her more than we did in Heaven. With great jealously he has taken my sister and friend.  I am sure that Sharon touched your lives over the years as much as she did ours.  I will miss you so much Sis!  Love you always!
