Sharyn Joy Teitelbaum, 79, of Plano, Texas, passed away on January 23, 2026. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Sharyn spent 35 years teaching in schools across the country and was known for her positive energy and love of life. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, time with family, playing mahjong, shopping with friends, and finding new ice cream spots with her grandson, Joshua.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Helen Kerman, and is survived by her husband, Harry Teitelbaum; daughters Stefani Tichauer (Eduardo) and Melissa Staller; her grandchildren, Joshua Tichauer, Jordan Rhone, and Jeremy Rhone; and her great-grandchild, Wesley Findeisen.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Agudas Achim Memorial Cemetery on Austin Highway.
