Born on December 4, 1944, to parents, Duard Worth and Sophie Ann (Walker) Counts, and raised on a farm in Sagerton, Texas, she lived a life centered on family, kindness, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her caring heart, unwavering dedication to those she loved, her quick wit and the lasting impact she made on the lives of family and friends.
Sherry was preceded in death by her beloved parents; and her husband of 61 years Charles “Dale” Wilhelm and sister, Margie Counts.
She is survived by her daughter, Lavena Haines; son, Dale Worth Wilhelm; brother in-law Jimmie Neal Wilhelm, and grandchildren Cooper, Riley and Piper Haines.
Graveside services will be held at the Historical Counts Cemetery in Runnels County, Novice, Texas.
