Shirley A. Burns, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2012 at the age of 62. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jerry C. Burns; daughters, Jennifer and Aisha Burns; granddaughter, Janiyah Brown; sisters, Marie Austin and Lois Hartfield. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
