Shirley graduated from Enid High School and the University of Oklahoma. She served in the U.S. Army. She was a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Barry L. Davison, USA Ret and her father, Jonah Schroeder.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Parker and husband Chris of Selma, TX; sons, Matthew Davison of San Antonio, TX, Edward Davison and wife Monique of Austin, TX and Michael Davison and wife Nancy of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Caroline and Andrew Davison of Chicago, IL and Fallon Davison of Austin, TX; mother, Olive Schroeder of San Antonio, TX; and brother, Melvin Schroeder and wife Jean of Rio Rancho, NM.
