Shirley was born in Cartwright, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada to Theodore Davis and Rhoda Hopkins on June 16, 1940. She was married her loving husband John A. Foster.
Shirley is preceded in death by her Husband John A. Foster; Sons John D. and Ronald Foster.
Shirley is survived by her Son Charles D. Foster and wife Farideth Foster; Daughter-in-Laws Gera Foster and Kathy Foster and numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at11:00 AM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A committal service will follow on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 1:30 PM PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209, Committal Shelter #3.
