Sammy was a wonderful lady, she worked with my husband Dan and he always had excellent comments about her. Every time I called the post office she was nice and kindly. It is a very sad lost. God Bless her family

I feel very fortunate to have been part of SAM's US Postal Service family at the GMF Window Service. Sam had our respect and friendship. When she came to us, she influenced us with her hard working, vibrant spirit. We also experienced her happiness, laughter, and so much positive energy. This is how I will remember Sam - full of life. I remember Sam and I would take a break about the same time..we'd just talk and share funny stories. She was one of the few people in the Postal Service that was down to earth and honest. I am so sorry for your loss patti and i really didnt know sam that well but i thought that she was a nice woman.When i met her i knew that she was a wonderful person and i really injoyed to talk to her she had a great sense of humor and i will miss her and im hoping to met her again when my time comes.

Sam was there for me when I came out. She was such an influence. She had the patience to teach me how to ride a bike over 20yrs ago. I'd lost touch with her but recently connected and was eagerly anticipating riding together. I was so happy that she seemed to be in a very good place with everything right in her life. I will miss her but her spirit will live on.

I didn't know Ms. Morrison or her partner but I would like to send my condolences to both families. I myself am a rider with the Alamo City Gypsy M/C..RoadName..Doorknob. I heard from a friend about noon calling to see if I was ok because she heard of an accident. I kept up with this story until it was time to sign her guest book. Again I am very sorry for your loss and we will keep you all in our prayers.

So full of love and caring for all others...that was Sam. We met at STMC as carriers in 1986, then she became my 204B and she was the best 204B I had ever known. I would like to share my fondest memory of her: I had just returned from being off for surgery when on Tuesday, the 10th our paths crossed in the Admin hallway of the GMF @ 8am. She offered me such a warm welcome back, asked about how I was feeling, and if I was o.k. I told her I was feeling fine and in turn gave her my biggest hug and a kiss on her cheek. I always enjoyed seeing her. I will truly miss her in my life. Sam, may God gently hold you in the palms of his hands while you rest with his angels. All my love eternally, Rosalie

In your time of sorrow, may the memories that you two shared bring peace to your heart.

Although we didn't see much of Sam the past few years, she was often in our thoughts and we were always trying to find time to get together with each other. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and we will always regret it. Sam helped us to coordinate our wedding and there was always alot of laughter when she was around. She will be sorely missed by our Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and Chronic Pain Support Group members. Also, Anthony worked with her for many years at the post office....we will never forget her.
