Shirley Ann Ohmes

Shirley Ann Ohmes was born September 15, 1942, in San Antonio, Tx, to Catherine and Alfonso Catalani. She married Leonard Joseph Ohmes, Jr. on September 4,1965. They had 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Alfonso Catalani, her husband Leonard Ohmes and daughter Lisa Ohmes. She is survived by her son Leonard Ohmes wife Gina, daughters Stacey Katzer husband Kal, Stephanie Fiebrink husband James, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers Alfonso Catalani wife Elia, Jeffery Catalani wife Cheryl and 6 nieces and nephews and 1 great niece.

Shirley graduated from Jefferson HS and received her Nursing LVN degree at San Antonio College.

Shirley was an LVN nurse at Wilford Hall in the OB/GYN clinic and Baptist Hospital in the Surgical Unit. She also was active with the Girl Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Boy Scouts and also played Shuffleboard in the San Antonio Monday and Wednesday night leagues.

She loved going on trips with her family. She took many trips to the beach at Padre Island, with her family. Also went to Big Bend and Colorado for backpacking and canoeing with the Scouts and also her family. She also loved playing Shuffleboard with her friends and family.
