Shirley loved to read and was an avid painter. She worked for civil services for 25 years. She enjoyed dancing all her life, so much so that she learned and taught line dancing well into her 80's.
She was preceded in death by, her loving husband, William Lee Proctor, Sr.
Shirley is survived by her son, William Lee Proctor, Jr. and wife Judy; daughter, Sandra K. Shaw and husband Dennis; granddaughter, Toni Lyn Proctor; grandsons, Christopher William Proctor and wife Sara, Ryan Michael Shaw and wife Laura; great-granddaughters, Addison Proctor, Chloe Shaw and Teagan Shaw; great-grandsons, Jack and twin brother Noah and Henry Proctor, and Samuel Shaw.
