Shirley Joan Robinson

Shirley was born on April 7th 1935 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Donald W. and Rose (Maronto) Richardson. She married Kenneth Dale Robinson on June 6th 1952.

In 1967 she graduated from Baptist Memorial School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 years. She loved nursing and eventually retired from the VA. Devoted to her family she was a treasure and loved by all, a silent strength full of grateful joyousness. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her devoted husband of 69 years Kenneth; daughter Brenda Fiel (Lanny) of Boerne, TX; sons, David M Robinson (Mary Ann) of Wichita Falls TX , Larry D. Robinson (Susan) of Belton TX; grandchildren Jason, Jeremy, Billy, Chris, Brad, Courtney, Patrick, Max ; 14 great-grandchildren and her dog, Bella Sue.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Donald J. Richardson and Michael J. Richardson; sisters Barbara J. Rambo; and infant twin sister, Mary Josephine Richardson.
