She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Rafaela Navaira; brother, Joe Navaira and Paul Navaira; sisters, Olga Work and Delia Paniagua.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Francisco Mateo; Children, Francisco Mateo Jr., Silvia Martinez and husband, Ramon; Velia Mateo, Diana Sanchez and husband, Samuel; granddaughter, Isabel Mateo; step sister, Ana Victoria Navaira.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m, Monday, April 17, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery and Mausoleum III.
