YNCS Simon B. Orta, US Navy (Ret.) passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 21, 1952 in Rio Bravo, Mexico to David M. Orta and Albessa Balandran. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maria Orta; sister, Maria Cristina and sister, Juanita Leticia. Simon is survived by his children, Angelica Haymore (John), Christina Comly (Shane) and son, Simon David Orta; grandchildren, Caleb Comly, Dylan Comly, Roman Haymore and Titus Haymore; siblings, Onesimo Orta (Amelia), Alma Rosas (Antonio), David Orta, Jesus Orta (Ermine) and Francisco Orta (Rosario).
