

Simon proudly served in WWII with his three brothers, enlisting immediately after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. While stationed in Hawaii as a Chief Petty Officer, he would meet Ray Esparza whose sister, Lillie, later became his wife.
They would have been married 60 years this August.
Simon worked at Kelly AFB as a warehouse foreman and retired after 30 years of service in 1981 to dote on his two grandchildren. He lived a full, happy, and full-filled life watching his grandson play golf, bowling, dancing, and enjoying his family and friends.
Simon is survived by his wife, Lillie E. Trevino; his son, Robert Trevino; daughter-in-law, Kathy "KC" Trevino; grandson, Matthew Trevino and wife, Monica; granddaughter, Jennifer Martinez and husband, Richard; and his great-grandson, Sean Anthony Martinez.
He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Trevino and Eva Trevino; brother-in-law, David Esparza and his wife Lucy; sister-in-law, Beatrice Rossi and numerous nieces and nephews and his one special dog, "Otis".
