Mr. Cohen served in the United States Air Force during WWII, being stationed in the Aleutian Islands.
He was a pharmacist and later became a successful sales director, first with Eli Lilly and then with Merck, Sharpe and Dohme. He was married for 59 years to Miriam B. Cohen, who preceded him in death.
Survivors: son Lawrence M. Cohen, MD; sister-in-law Ruth Cohen; brother-in-law Morris Bankler and his wife Louiseall of San Antonio; granddaughter Dara M. Cohen of New York City; and grandson Shanan D. Cohen of St. Louis.
Mr. Cohen loved to sing and dance.
