Sophia Lanier Henning

Our precious, Sophia Lanier Henning, age 23, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on February 6, 1997 in San Antonio, Texas to her parents, Richard H. and Belinda Bustamante Henning. Sophia was a brilliant, amazing young lady taken from this world far too soon. Sophia had many talents but none second to her to ability to make you laugh. She was sweet, kind, loved animals and loved to play her violin. Sophia’s smile could light up the night sky. Sophia brought much joy to her family and friends. Sophia was very loved and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her great grandmother, Josephine Haltom Henning; her grandmother, Jolan Henning and her grandfather, Amado F. Bustamante. Sophia is survived by her grandmother, Yolanda P. Bustamante; her parents, Richard and Belinda Henning; her brother, John Travis Henning; her sister, Sarah Josephine Henning and her husband, Blake N. Menchaca; and her nephew, Simon B. Menchaca.
