Staci was the beloved daughter of Billie Koch and was lovingly raised by her and her stepfather. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Mike Johnson, and a proud, loving mother to her two children, Branndon Castillo and Ashley Johnson. Family was the heart of Staci’s life, and she poured her energy, creativity, and care into making her home a warm and joyful place.
One of her greatest joys was spending time at the beach, where she loved fishing and soaking in the peace of the ocean—her favorite escape. She had a deep and enduring love for Christmas, which brought her tremendous happiness. But what she adored most about the holiday, and what became a signature part of her life year-round, was her snowman collection. Friends and family could always find her home adorned with cheerful snowmen in every season, each one a reflection of her playful, whimsical spirit.
Staci also had a special fondness for the color yellow, a hue that matched her bright and sunny disposition. Her warmth, positivity, and lightheartedness made her a joy to be around and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Staci is survived by her beloved husband, Mike Johnson; her children, Branndon Castillo and Ashley Johnson; sisters-in-law, Laura Padilla, Kimberly Johnson and many extended family members and friends who will carry her memory forward with love.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas.
In honor of Staci’s joyful spirit, the family invites those attending to consider wearing yellow or bringing a small snowman ornament or token in her memory.
