Stanley James Brehmer

He was born in Luckenbach, TX on January 30, 1927 to Walter and Dorothea Brehmer. He was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church and attended school in Fredericksburg, TX. He was drafted into the Army in 1945 and served in Germany. Afterward he attended college in Tiffin, OH, before returning to San Antonio where he completed his BS degree at Trinity University.

He worked for Great Western Loan & Trust and later became Vice President and Treasurer. When he retired in 1987, he was Financial Vice President of Control Data/Commercial Credit where he had responsibility for sixteen western states.

In 1953 he met the love of his life, Mary Helen Breen, and they remained devoted to each other until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his longtime companion Mary Helen Breen and her family; his brother Oris Brehmer and wife Jean; niece Joyce Brehmer; and numerous cousins and friends.
