Stanley Poisso, age 86, of San Antonio, Texas entered into rest April 23, 2017. He was born in Demer, MS to Bentley & Sudie Poisso on December 17, 1930. He was married to his wife, Billy Fay Poisso on February 1, 1954 and they were married 62 years.
Fay and Stanley ran their own business for many years. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church (P.O.S.A.).
Mr. Poisso was preceded in death by his loving wife, Billy Fay Poisso.
He is survived by his children, Carolyn Poisso, Billy Poisso and his wife Karin, Paula Poisso Henry and husband Doug; grandchildren, Chris and his wife Nanako, Blake, Brittany, Dustin, Hunter and Luis; great grandchildren, Fairen and Siany; brother, Columbus Lennel (Tiny) Poisso and wife Bertie; numerous other loving family members.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm, Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Flowers are welcomed or contributions may be made the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
