

TSgt, USAFR, Retired Stanley (Stan) Ignatious Wisilosky, of San Antonio, Texas died on February 8, 2026. He was born April 22, 1952 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to the late Michael A. Wisilosky, Sr and Jo Ann Porter Wisilosky.
Stan graduated from Connellsville Senior High School with the Class of 1970 and worked at Anchor Hocking cap factory before entering the United States Air Force in 1976 and retiring from the United States Air Force Reserve in 1998. After basic training at Lackland AFB, he completed Personnel Systems Management at Kessler AFB, Biloxi, MS. During his 22 years of active and reserve duty, he also was stationed in Travis AFB, CA, Scott AFB, IL, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. He retired from 433rd Mission Support Group, Kelly AFB in San Antonio. While servicing in the military, he was awarded numerous Meritorious, Air Force Commendation and Air Force Achievement Medals.
In 1998 Stan started his 2nd career as an IT Project Management consultant for several companies in San Antonio to include HEB and USAA where he eventually joined the staff at USAA as an IT Project Manager. While at USAA, Stan received two US Patent awards and a USAA innovation Award. Even before retirement Stan traveled extensively throughout the world to include, Europe, Middle East, Africa, South America, Central America, Canada, Caribbean Islands, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia Islands, and all 50 states. One of his most proud trips was to Galapagos Islands. He enjoyed that he got together with close friends once a week for happy hour and Hors d’oeuvres.
Mr. Wisilosky is survived by a brother, Charles R. Wisilosky of Connellsville, PA; five sisters, Debbie Hominsky, Lou Ann Zabela, Vicky Mae Cesario of Virginia, Audrey Wisilosky and Helen M. Klotz (Mike), all of Connellsville, PA. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a very close nephew, Gerald Michael Delligatti who was there to the end and his very close friend, John Robert Caringola of Greensburg, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael A Wisilosky, Jr in 2012, Ranelle Wisilosky and Kaz Zabela.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232. A private memorial service for Stan with full military honors will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
